Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Discovery Sports have fantastic opportunities to join our team in a Sports Streaming Editor role for the Belgian market, supplementing our existing team working across our premium streams on discovery+ and HBO Max.

The Sports Streaming Editor is responsible for the editorialisation of our sports streaming content across our platforms, managing imagery, titles and descriptions to deliver a first-class user experience.

This fantastic opportunity will give successful candidates the chance to work on our premium streams for biggest sporting events like the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the biggest Cycling races, Grand Slam Tennis and all UFC Events. Eurosport is an official rightsholder of the Olympic Games and our streaming platform HBO Max is the Streaming Home of the Olympics - the only place you can watch every moment of Paris 2024 live.

This role requires the ability to work flexible hours, and the ability to attend our Hilversum Media Park office in person during certain events is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term contract with a duration of one year.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Preparing upcoming feeds to ensure a first-class user experience in advance of, and during, sport events

  • Ensuring clean and accurate titles and descriptions on all our premium sports content

  • Updating imagery on key assets as live sport progresses

  • Liaising with scheduling and broadcast teams to ensure users have accurate and up to date programme information

  • Liaising with merchandising team to ensure assets have most engaging presentation

  • Incident reporting and monitoring

Qualifications and Experience...

  • Strong attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to produce clean copy

  • A passion for and knowledge of sport is essential

  • Fluent in Dutch and/or Flemish and French and excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment
