DXC Technology Chief Information Security Officer in Any City, Virginia
Role & Responsibility
Provide senior leadership and oversight of the DSC global security architecture. Work with a variety of internal and external service providers to ensure effective & appropriate architecture, design, and, engineering of all technologies having an impact on the global security of DXC. Ensure that critical security controls are in place to combat both internal and external threats affecting DXC data, systems, and networks.
Supply technical oversight of security services to ensure they are adequately providing the proper levels of protection
Identify information security risks within the enterprise and recommend technologies, and services for mitigation.
Oversee and coordinate regular activities of the security providers to ensure coordination and proper configuration is in place to meet or exceed policy
Ensure delivery of security services and technologies that meet current demands for rapid and dynamic deployment of applications.
Establish enterprise Identity management solutions that ensure all accounts; tightly couple with an employee identity, automate lifecycle management, use identity attributes for access control decisions, provide centralized reporting for audits, and offer levels of strong authentication based on sensitivity.
Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Senior Management, system owners and peers to ensure effective protection is implemented, compliant with business and operational demands.
Work closely with OCIO Architecture team to ensure that new services and systems are properly architected and in accordance with security policy and standards
Minimum of eight (10) years of experience in IT program management or IT operations preferably in an outsourced IT support environment
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information security architecture
Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience
Significant experience with the daily operations of information security controls such as Identity Access and Management, intrusion detection, malware defenses, network access controls, and data loss prevention.
Knowledge of security intelligence and cyber threat tracking to include Advanced Persistent Threat (APT)
