General Workflow: Requests come in to tool; perform risk review process to determine if request is allowed; if not have to request special approval (or reject); then send to provisioning team to set it up. If it’s a transfer of access we have to set up in new group and also review the old access to determine what needs to be shut down.

Vision for bigger picture will enable a strong resource to grow into larger roles in the future. Ability to follow processes and recognize how process changes and deviations impact downstream teams.
Mature, professional approach to communication and work is a must - reliability, consistency and self-motivation are critical. Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation.
Some type of ticketing/queue management background helps a lot – that’s foundation of daily workload
Knowledge and experience working in enterprise Access Management - ideally understand Role Based Access Control concepts like Subject, Role and Permissions – maybe a technical Active Directory background (even though they won't be using AD - that work is passed to another team)
Essential Job Functions
Follow documented processes and desktop procedures for processing access provisioning requests
Answer Access Services hotline during published hours of support
Perform problem resolution for issues associated with processing access provisioning requests
Answer general questions and inquiries pertaining to requesting and provisioning access
Coordinate with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure Access Services knowledge documents are accurate and up-to-date for the Enterprise Help Desk.
Complete training courses required to obtain accounts and access to perform the SOW
Work with SME to modify account and access request forms (e.g. web forms, applications, tools) as required to support changing business rules
Work with SME to maintain desktop procedures to ensure they are current with business rules
Follow the Major Incident Management process and respond to alerts in the event of an outage impacting event or major incident
Provide testing support for provisioning system bug fixes, new functionality and regression testing. Maintenance windows may require support outside standard business hours (off hours)
Support audits (corporate, SOx and ad-hoc)
Pluses: Excel skills for sorting/analyzing data - vlookups, pivot tables, array tables, etc (Also need basic knowledge of MS Access to sort data)
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two or more years client/customer service
Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
Experience working with organizational functions and personnel
Experience working with and skilled in the use of help desk software
Basic communication skills
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Ability to meet professional standards towards project and co-workers
May require shift work
