Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Financial Operations Consultant to support the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC).

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for supporting financial, grants, and budget management processes, to include project planning, communications, risk analysis and tracking from project inception through implementation.
  • Support creating and analyzing financial reports, monitoring and reporting on projections, and providing support for data validation and verification of reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other relevant area
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to gather, design, analyze, and implement financial analysis projects
  • Interest and passion for the role of government and responsibilities of the public sector

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment.

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
