Continental Head of Automotive Sales, Ford in Auburn Hills, Michigan

The Head of Customer Sales Team is the owner of all cross-Business Area customer matters and represents all Business Areas in front of the customer's top-management. The function develops and executes the customer strategy in a strong alingment with the Business Areas, summarzing all business opportunities for future growth. The Head of Customer Sales Team is the main business driver across Business Areas and is supported by the two main pillars of CST organization consisting of the Customer Sales Manager BA / Regional (CSM) and the Customer Account Management (CAM).

Responsibilities Include:

Ownership for steering, approving, aligning and driving the implementation of the relevant customer strategy considering future and global business opportunities on comparable level with the customer as well as acquire and transfer customer market and strategic knowledge within Continental.

Challenge, drive and guide Business Areas related acquisition requirements on a global basis cross Business Areas.

Support Business Areas related acquisition requirements on a global basis cross Business Areas.

Responsible for steering and approval of customer engagement, knowledge of customer processes, and setting of internal guidelines (improvements processes and change management processes)

Supporting Business Areas in improvements processes and change management processes.

Orchestrate and steer the right and balanced goal alignment and ensure an aligned internal/external communication.

Responsible for approving the establishment and maintenance of best in class assumptions for Sales Planning & Opportunity Management

Responsible for approval and planning of own cost center and budget.

Guide and lead the dedicated organization for Ford Global Sales Team

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Technical Degree

Minimum 15 years experience in Sales, Negotiations, OEM Customer Relations

Demonstrated ability to follow and interpret Technical discussions

Demonstrated ability to lead Global Team

Demonstrated ability to grow profitable sales

Masters Degree in Business administration preferred

International Experience preferred
