We are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

What You Will Do:

This role is responsible for prospecting and selling RLDatix software suite to healthcare clients in the designated geographical area and industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business directly and through marketing campaigns

• Working with marketing manager in acquiring and communicating market intelligence

• Qualification of opportunities

• Achieve quarterly sales targets

• Negotiate commercial contracts

• Produce sales plan for major opportunities

• Maintain CRM, the sales information system, and provide forecasts as required

• Work effectively with other team members

• Building long term relationships, establishing contact and credibility with defined key individuals in target organisations (in particular C-Suite level stakeholders)

• Working with key stakeholders throughout the business (including other Account Managers, Marketing, Product, Customer Success and R&D) to design both tactical and strategic sale opportunities to increase new product penetration and stickiness and ultimately revenue and EBITDA within new and existing accounts

• Assist other Account Managers where possible to help close sales opportunities

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need:

• Strong and proven track record in selling within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment

• Experience ‘closing the deal’ and able to follow through sales opportunities to an order

• Proven and measurable track record in ‘opening doors’ and selling to greenfield sites

• Demonstrable experience building a book of business comprised of both warm and cold prospects/customers

• Experience constructing Account Plans covering both new product penetration and growth to new and existing customers

• A strong interest or previous experience working in the healthcare, allied health or biotech industries

• Possesses a fondness for business travel and working remotely

• Self-starter with a strong desire to achieve and meet targets

• Demonstrable experience developing compelling presentations and sound business cases / opportunity assessments

• Collaborative work style — able to work with varying personalities to achieve positive business outcomes

• Excellent presentation skills – able to ‘read the room’, convey a compelling story
