Project Engineer - Bloomington, IN

We are actively hiring a Project Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team in Evansville, IN! This person will sit onsite in Bloomington, IN, with one of the team's premiere clients while leading and supporting 10+ years of CAPEX projects onsite. This person will manage projects over $1M in scope and report project timelines, status, and costs for capital and cross-functional expenses. This person will work directly under the Project Manager onsite, with the idea that they could move into a Project Manager role as the team continues to grow and take on more work onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead technical review of all external Engineering Design reviews

• Define project strategies, develop project goals, and ensure project scope meets requirements

• Interact with management to ensure effective, ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders

• Assist Project Manager to identify projects risks, develop a risk plan, and establish risk response strategies

• Assist Project Managers in creating project schedules, tracking deliverables, and controlling project scope

• Collaborate with external Engineering firm in feasibility assessments, concept design, basic design, and detail design

• Develop project URS, RFQs, CCMs, Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance Plans, P&ID Redlines, and Spare Parts Management

• Develop project Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and Front End Loading (FEL) documents

• Present project technical scope to site stakeholders, project sponsors, and/or endorsers

• Assist with project IQOQ and PQ activities

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of facilities design experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

• Ability to review drawings and designs to ensure they fit the project scope and plans

• Ability to work with the Project Manager and coordinate with the other engineering consultants and contractors

• Preferred, but Not Required - Previous experience in Facilities Design within Pharmaceutical industry
