Insight Global Part-Time Network Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

An employer is seeking a skilled network engineer to join a large biopharmaceutical company on a part-time basis. This individual will be responsible for migrating network resources from one environment to another. The role involves working with Cisco switching and routing technologies, setting up VLANs, troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with other teams.

Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain network devices, including switches and routers.

Set up and manage VLANs to optimize network performance.

Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

Assist in migrating network resources from one environment to another.

Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of experience in network engineering

Proficiency in Cisco switching and routing

Ability to make changes to network configurations

Ability to set up and manage VLANs to optimize network performance

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with Infoblox null
