Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The IT Systems Engineer will work as a member of a team that supports the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with Grouptechnology teams and other departments to design, implement, and maintain workflow and service management solutions to improve the performance of technology and other services provided to the Group. The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This includes collaboration with other team members, establishing standards for junior team members, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Information Technology services and support through effective function and integration of related underlying systems. Carrying out these duties will include leading the design of systems integrations and corresponding process, as well as coding of features and scripting automated tasks. The IT Systems Engineer is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing quality work products, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the IT Systems Engineer must fulfill the needs of the Group in a manner which is consistent with the Group's visions and values.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum ten (10) years' work experience relating to Information Technology, specifically pertaining to support, development, architecture, and design of IT systems.
  • Minimum five (5) years' work experience in a technical support role.
  • Minimum five (5) years' supporting the IT Service Management module of the ServiceNow platform, in particular.
  • Minimum two (2) years' work experience in an engineering role working with ServiceNow products.
  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation.
  • Ability to provide guidance and training to junior team members.
  • Experience with complex troubleshooting of issues with complex systems.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed. The need to travel is minimal.
