Any combination of the following skills is recommended but not required: welding, plumbing, electrical, inherent nature to foresee problems before they arise to prevent future issues, persistence in troubleshooting, ability to learn, ability to follow instructions, job site accountability including but not limited to adhering to safety protocols as indicated by head driller and other technicians, maintain clean work area, use professionalism with customers.

Specifics:

• 40+ hours per week during peek seasonal times
• Must have a valid drivers license
• We are willing to mentor and train the right applicant
• Flexible schedule during the school year for those enrolled in classes

Position could include the following:

• Assist in installation of new water well systems for agriicultural, commercial, and residential use
• Work floor of drill rig
• Operate machinery used to install wells such as: drilling rig, backhoe, skid loader
• Operate welder and cutting torch
• Operate hand-held tools such as: shovels, pipe wrenches, cordless tools
• Perform general shop duties including: cleaning, organizing, supply inventory
• Perform maintenance on equipment
• Local work, No overnight travel
