Summary:

The Consumer and Regional Bank (CRB) Segment Risk Vendor Manager manages the more complex relationships with an assigned partner. Huntington's Consumer and Regional Bank (CRB) Segment Risk Vendor Manager has oversight of third parties throughout the TPRM Lifecycle, in accordance with the requirements defined for Traditional and Non-Traditional Third Parties which includes identifying risks, leading meetings, tracking takeaways, and ensuring accountability of all partners, internal and external and will drive and execute various projects and work requests along with analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from the vendor to identify potential risks or issues as quickly as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Segment Risk Vendor Manager will participate in vendor compliance activities including adherence to established SLA’s, change process, and policy and procedures., such as:

  • Complete assigned Preliminary Risk Evaluations and vendor management programs in a timely and quality manner.

  • Provide timely response to Action Plans submitted in Coupa Risk Assess by Subject Matter Experts.

  • Identify and document limitations of Due Diligence in Coupa Risk Assess and escalate to TPRM and applicable Subject Matter Experts.

  • Monitor and document issues observed with third party performance, events and / or issues with third party adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor third party control adequacy and resolution.

  • Perform strategic exiting of third-party relationships and conduct the appropriate data retrieval / disposal.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or High school diploma with 5+ years of related experience also acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collaborative skillset with ability to work closely with colleagues in Product, Finance, IT, and Segment Risk to understand and meet their requirements and expectations of vendor performance.

  • Experience with vendor risk management in Consumer Finance, Wealth, or Business Banking managing a traditional third-party relationship or a Non-Traditional commodity for a specific product or service in accordance with TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) policy and procedures.

  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Self-directed and able to deal with ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated skills in developing control processes.

  • Able to critically analyze data and process to identify issues, root cause and corrective action.

  • Good analytical skills to monitor and review vendor performance.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated follow up skills.
