As a Utilities Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless operation of our GMP Utilities & Water Systems. This is an ambitious position that requires proven expertise in the field of engineering. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the utilities systems to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to compete under strict regulations will determine the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain GMP Utilities & Water Systems in compliance with industry regulations
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the systems are operating flawlessly
Collaborate with diverse teams to identify areas for improvement and successfully implement necessary changes
Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
Offer technical assistance and guidance to colleagues within the company
Stay informed about industry developments and effective methods to consistently enhance our utilities systems.
Develop continuous improvement initiatives for the upkeep of asset information within the maintenance management system.
Manage and support the site's mechanical and electrical utilities, including generation and distribution, to meet regulatory standards
Support the development of budget, maintain all systems and areas operated by Utilities to an audit ready standard.
Lead the lifecycle management program for all assets under your care
Take ownership of service contracts for equipment and systems, ensuring appropriate service levels are established.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining utilities systems in a GMP environment.
Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
