CVS Health is seeking an experienced professional skilled in all phases of threat/risk analysis and operational security intelligence. He/she will be responsible for developing analytic products designed to provide key stakeholders situational awareness and strategic warning to reduce operational risk across the enterprise. He/she will also be responsible for producing critical, time-sensitive reports and using various analytical tools. The Security/Threat Analyst will serve as a member of the Operational Threat Analysis Group (TAG), which functions as the enterprise operational risk analysis hub for identifying, analyzing, and providing actionable threat and risk-related information. TAG provides situational awareness and briefings to senior leaders and business partners to ensure a constant state of readiness and capability are achieved to enable timely operational decision-making and response actions to mitigate all-hazard threats, risk events, or crisis situations which may affect CVS Health’s colleagues, customers, assets, supply chain, operations, and brand.
The Security/Threat Analyst will support the Sr. Manager of the Operational Threat Analysis Group, the Director of Security Operations, and the Vice President of Corporate Security in maintaining the overall safety and security of CVS Health’s people, facilities, and assets. The ideal candidate will be an operationally minded, business focused problem-solver, with experience in analyzing threat and risk information to develop actionable intelligence.
Key responsibilities:
Support security and resiliency initiatives and strategies – using an all-hazards, risk-based approach – while ensuring that security measures and resiliency processes mitigate identified risks
Conduct open-source research to identify potential areas of risk and provide findings through written reports to various internal stakeholders to include senior management
Participate in security response activities to ensure they appropriately address the direct effects of an event or incident
Respond to Requests for Information on topics of interest (groups, threats, targets, etc.) as required
Assist with the administration of employee travel programs by preparing country briefs and travel advisories for executives and Executive Protection personnel
Integrate convergence planning, both physical and cyber, into core security/intelligence and business functions
Evaluate Global Security policies, programs, and procedures to effectively protect information and information systems from adversarial threats
Monitor emerging threats and oversee the analysis of data from varied sources and perspectives to identify potential areas of impact to the enterprise
Assess and catalogue all threats directed at Company executives, officers, employees or facilities
Develop meaningful metrics that effectively measure key performance indicators and enhance model-driven solutions and techniques Monitor global indicators and alert systems to ensure event/incident details are transmitted, escalated and responded to in an efficient and timely manner
Partner and develop collaborative relationships across the Enterprise Security management team for program sponsorship and resources to ensure short- and long-term goals are achieved
Prepare and conduct intelligence/security-related training programs
Maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement, intelligence and other related government agencies, and private sector security groups
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with operational intelligence, continuity of operations, and physical security – operational experience in these key areas is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication (both verbal and written) skills, as well as the ability to work and collaborate with various CVS Health business units and across all levels of employees, including executives
Sound technical skills and demonstrated aptitude for information analysis with the ability to create concise, accurate and well-written reports with minimal direction
Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with diverse groups of individuals and functions, both internal and external
Ability to adhere to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
Ability to efficiently manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Instructional and supervisory capability and adaptability
Ability to brief/instruct in-person or online regarding relevant topics or issues
Experience using various open and commercial data sources
Moderate to advanced experience working with ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Office Tools, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
Experience operating in a highly complex fast paced environment
Have a demonstrated understanding of policy and procedures for a health care company, including the application of industry best practices
Education:• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,700.00 - $107,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
