In this position...

Cross Vehicle Product Marketing Lead for Ford Pro's predominantly commercial vehicle portfolio.

Ford Pro's customer base has significant consideration of uniformity within their fleets - business buy 1-100+ vehicles per year, across many segments and even across OEMs. To this end, the customer expectation of the vehicle content, functionality, services, even appearance are of a higher order importance. Uniformity and consistentency throughout the porftfolio has the benefit of simplifying the user experience, and also simplifying our internal PD workload. This role is at that intersection - identifying content which should be decided holistically - and being the voice to carry that signal throughout the company.

What you'll do…

  • Lead Pro efforts to prioritize holistic content across the commercial vehicle portfolio

  • Lead Interface with internal Ford teams as the voice of holistic prioritization – tech, program, internal product marketing, etc.

  • Input to be provided includes prioritization of product configurations, battery pack lineup, high want fleet features/fleet only options, optimization of offering strategy for commercial (including tech stack, DAT, IVI, connected & charging services, etc.), analysis of complexity and cost reduction implications

  • Working with wider product marketing and pricing teams, provide guidance on commercial-specific volume, revenue, mix analysis for each key program milestone and market equation

  • Lead efforts to identify communized customer needs; and push those into the system across programs

  • Areas include vehicle content (ADAS, tech, displays, controls etc.) and also support role towards future services car parc growth (elec arch etc.)

  • Predominantly a forward model role, but will also be responsible for now time frame issues that arise

You'll have...

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field required

  • 8+ years of product or marketing experience

  • 2+ years of experience working with engineering or technical requirements for vehicle content

  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience through influencing and collaboration across functions. Proven ability to interface effectively with senior management and external partners and customers

  • Exceptional communication skills and strong storytelling abilities to make the case for our NA commercial customer needs (particularly in discussions with European team)

  • Broad bandwidth to accommodate various cross functional points of view

  • Have a large network within PD & strategy community

  • Proficiency in Ford systems including MOCA, EIS, EDB, Polk helpful

  • Self-motivated and curious

  • Strong organizational skills are a must

  • Understanding of GPDS milestones

  • Persistent attention to detail

  • Extraordinary teamwork and collaborative behaviors

  • Overall business acumen and ability to develop innovative strategic and tactical marketing actions

  • Process-oriented mindset with an eye for potential efficiencies
