The Mammography Technologist 3 (H) performs various complex technical activities associated with performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist 3 (H) operates X-ray equipment and develops and assesses the film for technical quality, such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. The Mammography Technologist 3 (H) explains procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. The incumbent assists and trains lower-level employees

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Directs the efforts and achievements attained thus far in implementing a physician compensation program and develops strategies to elevate the program to the next level. Offers expertise in the formulation of comprehensive compensation strategies designed to meet the UHealth growth strategy and hospital service line strategies; develops/recommends continual refinement of quality-based provider compensation structures/models to support the established strategies and the evolving environment of accountable care and value-based reimbursement; builds and ensures consistency in methodologies and implements best practices. Acts as liaison between administration, employed physicians, legal counsel, and/or third parties regarding physician compensation issues, coverage agreements, corporate overhead allocations, and other financial matters impacting physician compensation. Manages and oversees the calculation, tracking and reporting of key performance indicators relating to provider performance and productivity (e.g., productivity, value-based metrics); ensures that all functional activities are fully documented following established standards. Ensures that information used to calculate provider compensation is accurate and contains all relevant modifications and that any value-based metrics are updated and processed promptly. Leads efforts on design, gathering stakeholder input, and implementation of faculty effort reporting and monitoring solutions across all missions of the enterprise, including Research, Clinical and Teaching Efforts for greater than 1,800 faculty. Oversees ongoing faculty effort and reporting solutions and processes; creates training and educational materials, provides data governance and integrity, and collaborates with Missions and Central departments on specific business and reporting needs. Oversees financial monitoring and reconciliation of faculty effort concerning actual cost distribution and labor allocations. Oversees, performs, and coordinates new practices, clinics, and service line startups concerning provider compensation. Develops a transparent and effective funds flow model to ensure that resource allocations are closely aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Assesses and analyzes the existing flow of funds from the clinical enterprise to the medical school to identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, and rationalization for the planning of the new model. Partners with the CFO to establish a governance committee to oversee and maintain the integrity of the funds flow process. Partakes in developing the annual operating budget for provider compensation and patient volumes and integrating the fund's flow model with the annual budgeting process. Oversees staff and oversees the administration of the provider compensation plan and funds flow model, ensuring the accuracy of all data used for physician compensation and resource allocations for funds flow. Partners with medical school and health system leadership, human resources, and physician leadership to develop physician salary offers. Meets with physician candidates regarding compensation and system pay practices. Presents regular reports to the Chief Financial Officer & Human Resources Officer. Acts as a single point of accountability for UHealth’s physician compensation and the related funds flow performance and improvement opportunities. Prepares and presents compensation information to the executive team, senior executive team, and Board as needed. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Associate Degree in relevant field

Certification and Licensing:

Certification in relevant specialty or field
