Position Details:

• Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler

• Location:East Rochester/Penfield, NY

• Hours: 12noon-8:30pm (M-F)

• Pay: $18.00/hr

Who We're Looking For:

Candidates with Forklift Certification to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Experience should include picking stock, using handheld scanners, loading and unloading materials. A team player, with good communication skills and a mind for safety.

What to Expect as a Forklift Operator:

• Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision

• Picking stock

• Light manufacturing

• Building pallets for shipment

• Loading and unloading materials

• Ordering, storing and delivering supplies

• Using hand scanners

• Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.

• Work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications for Success:

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE or 2 years of relevant experience is required

• Fork Truck License required

• Need steel toe safety shoes

• Basic mathematic skills

• Prior Warehouse/Dock experience

• Detail oriented with time management skills

• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook

• SAP knowledge is preferred
