IntelAssist ERP Business Analyst (US Based Client) in Eastwood, Philippines

Work Set-Up: The first 2-4 weeks you are required to work onsite and then transition to fully remote/work-from-home.

Location: 19th Floor, CyberOne, Eastwood Ave, Bagumbayan, Quezon City, 1800 Metro Manila

Shift: Nightshift/Graveyard (EST)

Job Summary:

The ERP Business Analyst/Quality Analyst will play a critical role in helping our developers create effective enhancements and scalable solutions to meet our client's evolving needs and enrich the proficiency and functionality of the Acumatica ERP solution.

In this hybrid role, our ERP Business Analyst/Quality Analyst will collaborate with our development and consulting teams to take a custom development project from start to finish. They will spend approximately 60% of their time functioning in a business analyst capacity and 40% of their time acting in a software quality testing capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and participate in discovery calls with client to uncover pain points, limitations or gaps related to the software; clearly understand the client's needs and challenges.

  • Identify and capture solution requirements and priorities and prepare detailed specification documents, including screen shots and file layouts if appropriate.

  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and mitigate risk.

  • Ensure application documentation is accurate, complete and maintained/updated in a timely manner.

  • Obtain proper supporting materials from client (flow charts, sample reports, etc.) to ensure understanding of needs.

  • Review custom programming specifications with clients.

  • Consults with development team as to feasibility, methodology and cost estimate:

  • Assist in scope and risk assessment, and cost analysis.

  • Propose native functionality for configuration where custom development is not required.

  • Provide client with cost estimates and set proper expectations regarding processes, implementation schedule and timelines.

  • Obtain the appropriate authorization and signatures needed to move the project forward.

  • Utilize project management skills to schedule and monitor QA work and track inflight projects.

  • Work with the developers, both internal and offshore, to ensure all aspects of the software have been properly tested to ensure solution reliability, performance, and quality:

  • Identify and document defects in a clear and concise manner.

  • Develop a path to reproduce defects, enabling the development team to identify bugs quickly and create targeted solutions in an expeditious manner.

  • Complete regression/verification testing as needed.

  • Develop testing strategies and plans:

  • Set up test installations and test custom programming.

  • Report errors to developers.

  • Confirm that the custom development created addresses the client's needs.

  • Follow, refine, and maintain custom development testing procedures, departmental procedures, and documentation best practices to ensure prompt, accurate and cost-effective delivery of exceptional software solutions to client.

  • Maintain source code repository.

  • Initiate jobs coming into the department:

  • Set up folders.

  • Work with Development Team Lead to distribute work.

  • Collaborate with internal team members and/or clients to prepare and schedule software testing, demonstrations, and installations.

  • Attend project, internal team meetings and software demonstrations, as required.

  • Additional duties or ad hoc projects, as assigned.

Qualification:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Acumatica ERP or similar SaaS ERP solution (in -depth knowledge of ERP applications required).

  • 1-3 years of experience with software quality assurance testing.

  • 1-3 years client-facing Business Analyst experience preferred.

  • SQL experience a plus but not required.

  • Understanding of the software test cycle process, disciplines, and methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies required.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully and handle shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • Understanding of common mid-market business processes, with ability to conceptualize solutions to complex business issues of mid-market clients.

  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for systematically and logically analyzing situations, resolving problems, identifying causes, and mitigating risk.

  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication; strong documentation skills with sharp attention to detail a must.

  • Exceptional listening and observation abilities.

  • Proven customer relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM tools.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and function effectively in a team-oriented, matrix environment; capable of building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
