Wintegrityis searching for(25) Certified Medical Assistantsin theMyrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and GeorgetownAreas with (5) years of experience working in a Physician office setting.RequiredCertification includes BLS and at least (1) certification from the following CCMA, RMA, NCMA and AAMA.

JOB DESCRIPTION Work as part of the clinical team, following leadership orders for care of patients and related medical and clerical support functions. Accompanying patients to exam rooms, preparing patients for exams, performing and documenting vital signs, assisting with procedures. Preparing and administering medications with physicians authorization, performing EKGs, using CPR skills when required, drawing blood. Providing patient education with regards to office policies, medication, and management of disease, home treatments, and special diets. Retrieval of lab and x-ray reports, calling in prescriptions, telephone triage, obtaining referrals and authorizations, completing medical forms and other duties as assigned. Ordering medical and office supplies, stocking exam rooms, cleaning rooms, cleaning instruments, disposing of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards, and performing accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times, and adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of five (5) yearsin a physician office setting,preferred. American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequiredto be initially completed with the Organizational Development Office within 30 calendar days of hire date (exceptions to obtain certification from a provider other than the Organizational Development Office are approved by Organizational development on a case by case basis). BLS Recertification is required every two (2) years. Computer knowledge,required. Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task,required. Phlebotomy skills and experience,preferred. Physical Requirements: Light Physical Agility Test (PAT) Rating

EDUCATION High School Diploma or Equivalent,required.

CERTIFICATION Certification from nationally recognized agency,required.
