Piedmont Regional Jail Authority is now accepting applications for Human Resources Director. The position requires a professional demeanor, good organizational skills and the ability to work well with the public. The Human Resources Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Human Resources Department and functions for Piedmont Regional Jail Authority. Duties include but are not limited to: ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws, acts as the ADA coordinator for the facility, recruitment, retention and employee relations. The selected candidate will be responsible for FMLA, FLSA, workman's comp, VRS, etc.

Requirements:

• Citizen of the United States
• 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Good Health and Physically Fit for Duty
• Meet Minimum Requirements on Comprehensive Background Investigation
• Drug-Free
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the field required.
• Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA preferred
• Experience using KRONOS, Cardinal and VRS preferred but not required
