Contracts and Proposals Manager - Direct Hire, Competitive Salary with Great Benefits and Relocation Assistance

Just 4 miles from Fort Lauderdale's sunny beaches, Dayton Granger, Inc. designs, produces and supplies cutting edge avionics products in support of programs for commercial, general aviation and military customers. DG is seeking critical thinkers with solid writing skills to participate in hands on negotiations and contract drafting. The team member will be instrumental in shaping the Company's business deals and making significant contributions to the future of the organization.

This position is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL and the successful candidate must have experience in the Aerospace Industry.

The Contracts and Proposals Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all phases of new and existing programs, including review of terms and conditions, proposal submittal, price and contract negotiations, contract award and fulfillment of program requirements.
  • Conducting research that is tied to marketing programs.
  • Developing and writing professional and concise technical proposals based on solicitation requirements.
  • Providing upper management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.
  • New product development and critical innovation projects as well as strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills for Proposal Manager:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English, Technical Management or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with contract review and technical writing in the Aerospace Industry is required.
  • Experience administrating government contracts and proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent computer skills and a mastery of Microsoft Office programs.
