We are looking for an Operations Data Architect. This position will be based at our Fort Worth,TX location.

We are seeking a Data Architect to assist us with defining, developing, and deploying our factory digital thread that will align with and support our automation and digitalization strategy and initiatives. You will play a crucial role in structuring and organizing data in a way that supports the organizations goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with all stakeholders (data scientist, data analyst, business leaders, etc.) to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. You will be work closely with various other Siemens’ organization all focused on developing the end to end Digital Twin and Digital Thread.

You will make an impact by:

  • Defining our factory digital thread to be used for our 5 North America plants.

  • Designing and implementing data models to support various data initiatives.

  • Designing data storage solutions.

  • Implementing security measures for all data storage solutions that align with Siemens Information Security and Cyber Security guidelines.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience working as a data architect.

  • Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases.

  • Experience with data warehousing technologies.

  • Understanding of data integration techniques and tools.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.

  • Familiarity with edge computing and relationship to data warehouse technologies

  • Experience with data governance frameworks and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any certification in data management.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

  • Familiar with advanced analytics concepts.

  • Work well with a team.

  • Experience collaborating with organizations focused on defining, designing, and deploying the end-to-end digital thread.

  • Experience working with stakeholders to convert requirements into solutions.

  • The pay range for this position is $98,980 - $169,680 and comes with a 10% annual bonus. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
