BlackRock Solutions (BRS) is uniquely positioned to address the industry’s risk management, portfolio construction and financial technology demands. The various business departments within BRS are focused on providing clients with highly scalable portfolio analytics & risk management, liabilitydriven investing & pension solutions, and regulatory advice & balance sheet strategy. BRS offers clients customized solutions powered by Aladdin, BlackRock’s proprietary risk management system. The Aladdin Wealth team within BRS is bringing the same risk capabilities used by BlackRock's investment teams and sophisticated institutional clients worldwide to the wealth management industry and retail investors, equipping clients with model construction capabilities, risk monitoring tools, and portfolio construction & analytics. Aladdin Wealth partners with clients to help them lead their enterprise risk, building better portfolios, improving their value proposition, and institutionalizing their investment process.

Position Description:

The candidate will join the Client Delivery & Execution team. He/She/They will be an integral part of the team and take responsibility for servicing our clients across a range of activities including analytics support, product management, and implementation of Aladdin capabilities.

Responsibilities:

The hired candidate will have one or more for the following responsibilities upon joining Aladdin Wealth Tech:

➢ Work with the global Aladdin Wealth team to help implement clients on the Aladdin Wealth platform. This includes understanding our client’s business and their requirements, and work with them to implement our product in a way that helps transform their business.

➢ Service Aladdin Wealth Tech clients that are live on the platform working closely with global relationship managers.

➢ Enhance Aladdin Wealth Tech’s Funds Data and Analytics product: -

o Model and maintain risk analytics and governance structures for funds within Aladdin

o Leverage Aladdin risk models and the teams’ proprietary methodologies to generate risk for global funds.

o Streamline and automate the funds data services, analytics and risk generation process through production and engineering improvements.

➢ Develop understanding of BlackRock’s proprietary risk models and serve as a subject matter expert on risk analytics for products such as funds, equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives

➢ Develop an understanding of wealth management landscape across the globe and key industry trends and growth drivers.

➢ Support technology initiatives within the team to grow the Aladdin Wealth product, as well as achieve scalability and efficiency.

➢ For an associate, it will be important to carry experience in people management roles such that the candidate can manage team with-in same functional area.

Skills/ Requirements :

➢ 3-6 years of work experience in a technology role with focus on financial/investment products/platforms/applications.

➢ B.E./B.Tech from a good university. B.E./B.Tech + MBA are also welcome to apply.

➢ Basic understanding of at least one programming language and an aptitude for working in a technology centric role.

➢ Understanding of financial products such as bonds and equities and portfolio management concepts is a plus.

➢ Good Spoken and Written Communication skills should be able to converse freely with global counterparts.

Our hybrid work model
