The International Commercial FP&A Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial closing process and estimation activities for GEHC International P&L for Orders, Sales and Contribution Margin. Reporting to the International Income Statement Leader, he/she will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across International Region and will be leading efforts to drive process improvements & standardization, enhance controls, and optimize financial performance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and lead of International FP&A processes related to Orders, Sales and Contribution margin reporting, forecasting and analysis.

• Lead the International financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

• Manage the estimation process for International operations, including revenue and profitability modeling, backlog analysis and triangulation, pricing and margin trends.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Operations, Segment and zone finance teams, to gather and consolidate financial data, ensuring alignment of financial reporting and forecasting activities.

• Review and analyze financial results and estimates, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.

• Provide guidance and support to zone finance teams on accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.

• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the closing and estimation function, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.

• Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and assess their impact on International financial reporting and estimation practices.

• Lead special projects and initiatives contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.• 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related field, with 2 years of experience in financial consolidation or reporting roles.• Thorough understanding of international accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.• Proven track record of leading financial closing processes and estimation activities in a multinational environment.• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve results.• Proficiency in financial systems and software applications, such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives
