Trinity Health Senior Analyst - Workforce Management in Hartford, Connecticut

Description:

Position Purpose

The Senior Analyst – Workforce Management promotes healthcare operational best practices and optimizes healthcare workforce management systems. This role provides advanced technical and analytical coaching and assistance to Trinity Health Ministry colleagues and leadership on staffing and scheduling best practices

What you will do

  • Serve as a both a conceptual subject matter expert on workforce management standards and technical subject matter expert on the UKG Dimensions systems and other workforce or financial systems.

  • Educate, train, and consult with clinical and non-clinical front-line managers empowering them to:

  • Optimize staffing to workload demand by hour of day and day of week based on historical data and forecasted workload, including for large, complex 24/7 operations departments.

  • Create staffing grids/models, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

  • Interpret key workforce management, financial, and UKG Dimensions reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education : bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field and an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in related field or role.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience: Healthcare experience preferred. Lean, six sigma or related experience or certification preferred.

Work Schedule :

  • Full time – 40 hours, day shift
