The Credit & Fraud Risk team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. Amex’s Risk Products & Data Strategy is at the core of delivering the outstanding customer experience while handling credit and fraud losses at lowest levels in the industry. With our mix of assets like closed-loop data, machine learning models, underwriting techniques on a modern technology stack we are re-imagining how payment experiences & risk management converge in a more modern, digital and connected world.

The Product Delivery team within Risk Products & Data Strategy implements Strategies across Onboarding (Credit & Fraud), Customer Management & Authorization, in addition to managing the structured Risk Data from internal as well as external sources. This team is responsible for defining and driving the transformation and modernization of risk management products across risk technology platforms. Our teams have technical and communication skills that enable them to work with cross-functional teams in various domains across the company including Risk Strategy, Product Management, Decision Sciences and Technology. We develop, and design logic used in risk management automation that is durable, scalable, easy to deploy and transparent to business strategy partners in real-time and batch environments.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and deploy best-in-class Risk Products using Low Code / No Code tools like Lucy

Deliver on end to end responsibilities from Design, Build, Unit Testing, Parallel Testing, End to End Testing and Product Launch.

Work on proprietary Cornerstone/Risk platforms using Big Data Tools and Framework including but not limited to Hive, SQL

Work in a scrum team environment with Scrum Master, Product Owner and peers to develop and deploy business logic.

Correlate requirements to the impact of logic to cardmembers and perform unit and end-to-end testing

Contribute into evaluating and/or developing right tools, common components, and capabilities

Drive automation and innovation by identifying opportunity areas and continuous improvement

Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability

Participate and contribute in scrum demo, grooming, and retrospectives

Academic Background:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science or related streams

• Past Experience: 6 to 24 months of relevant experience preferred.

Functional/Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Risk Systems

• Advanced data manipulation techniques

• Strong knowledge of SQL is a must.

• Exposure to Low Code / No Code platforms

• Excellent problem solving skills
