Robert Half Estate Planning Attorney in Houston, Texas

Description

We are offering a great opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer, based in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will assist with a focus on estate planning. The role will require a combination of onsite and remote work, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in estate planning including drafting of wills, complex wills, power of attorney, health power of attorney, deeds, trusts, promissory notes, and leases

• Create templates and documents for the firm's use

• Display strong writing and research skills

• Handle client interaction remotely, providing excellent customer service

• Comfortable working within a template

• Utilize skills in 3M, Case Management Software, Legal software, LexisNexis, Management System, Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, Documentation, Estate Planning, Licensed Attorney, Wills, Power of attorney, Power of Attorney Forms, Deeds, Trusts and Estates

Please note that the successful candidate will be licensed in TX (CA is a plus) and have 5-6 years of experience (all together).

Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

• Proficient in the use of legal software such as LexisNexis and Case Management Software

• Demonstrable experience with civil litigation and claim administration

• Proven skills in managing and preparing legal documentation

• Ability to handle complaints effectively and professionally

• Expertise in estate planning, including wills, power of attorney, deeds, and trusts

• Previous experience using 3M Management System is preferred

• Ability to draft and prepare power of attorney forms

• Sound knowledge and understanding of trusts and estates

• Skilled at briefing teams and clients on legal matters and case progress

• Familiarity with complaint handling and resolution

• Demonstrated ability in managing complex cases and meeting deadlines

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in a similar role as a licensed attorney is a must
