The Position

Join our dynamic team at the Centre of Excellence and Innovation (CoEI) in Enterprise Service Management, where we're passionate about optimizing IT and transforming business. We are currently looking for a second Product Owner for our strategic ServiceNow platform. Your role will be pivotal in driving global transformation through our MyServices offerings.

As a Product Owner, you will immerse yourself in understanding and addressing business needs, empowering stakeholders to implement, and relentlessly pursuing improvements in services and processes. You will be the captain of the ship for MyServices, taking ownership of the process and being accountable for its efficiency, effectiveness, and the tracking of results.

Tasks & responsibilities

• As the first point of contact, you will regularly engage with key stakeholders and senior management, providing updates on the status of the ServiceNow platform product. Your leadership will guide the product's direction, planning its roadmap, supporting major yearly upgrades, and fostering innovation.

• You will be instrumental in prioritizing and assessing strategic demands within the product backlog, offering consultation based on business value. Your role will involve defining, implementing, monitoring, and continuously refining the ServiceNow platform to ensure its growth.

• You will gather insights from subject matter experts, coordinating with related teams and businesses to conduct high-level analysis of strategic demands, including cost, timelines, and scope. Your day-to-day management of the ServiceNow platform product will involve cross-collaboration with other core products like ITSM or RF.

• You will facilitate periodic meetings aimed at continual process improvement and maintain dashboards for transparency. As the main contact with MyServices Architect and related partners/teams, you will prepare Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the tool's capabilities and specific use cases.

• By aligning with Product Owners and Architects, you will ensure demands are met promptly. You will also identify additional outcomes the platform can achieve to maximize value. Your efforts will enhance services supporting Business Processes through automation, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

• As a supporter of the ServiceNow DevOps team, you will handle incident and problem management, and if necessary, assist with existing processes.

• Lastly, you will contribute to and maintain GxP relevant validation documentation, ensuring compliance and quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable with long-term working experience in an international and virtual IT environment

• Few years of experience as a demand manager in a multinational corporation, coordinating a cross functional team

• Several years of project management experience as well as knowledge in Agile Product set up

• ITIL Foundations knowledge is a plus

• Knowledge about Service Management tools (ServiceNow) is a plus

• Ability to prioritize, understanding the impact and challenging requestors inputs

• Willingness and readiness to travel

• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
