Facilities Manager. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The Manager will play a crucial role that will be responsible for inspecting, planning and managing all aspects of the facilities functions, ensuring facilities (generator power, Uninterruptable Power System (UPS), Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) supporting the communication mission are available and operational across the base. Oversee the maintenance and operation of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems. Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance, repairs, and expenditures. Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and requirements. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Stay current on industry trends, DoD regulations and best practices in facility management.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Currently hold an adjudicated Secret and be able to maintain.

DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance (Security + Certification, equal or higher)

BA/BS +3 yrs recent specialized or AA/AS +5 yrs recent specialized or a major cert + 7 yrs recent specialized or 5 years of recent specialized (Facilities Management)

Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and fire protection

Proven experience in facility management, including supervisory experience

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Certificate, licenses, and registrations in refrigeration/HVAC

Powered Industrial Equipment Certification

Experience with LM 6000 technology

Experience in Startup or Operations of a Combined Cycle Power Station

Experience supporting CJTF

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
