GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assist in the site preparation and project operations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safekeeping and return of all tools assigned.
• Use Company tools and equipment in a manner to prevent damage to Company equipment or the property of others.
• Maintain clear understanding of the nomenclature of the tools, supplies and materials used in the site preparation for Taplin Projects.
• Upon arrival at the job site, assist the operator with setting up traffic control devices and setting up equipment.
• Use a shovel and hand tools to perform other functions as applicable through the course of the day.
• Apply the maintenance necessary for all the tools and equipment (oil & greasing) on the job site.
• Ensure that the job sites are periodically cleaned and all debris is disposed of at the end of each day.
• Ensure that all tools and supplies kept on the equipment/vehicles are in their proper location at the end of the day
• Accurately use measuring devices such as a tape measures, walking wheels and locating equipment.
• Assist operators with all other duties as required
• Ensure that the site has been properly secured at the end of the day
• Support and comply with all components of the company's safety program
• Regular and physical attendance is an essential function of this position
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
