BASIC FUNCTION:

Completes assigned fieldwork requests by determining operating problems and making necessary repairs. Works in the following product groups: Garage doors, fireplaces and punch-out.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Garage door, fireplace and punch-out experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility for the daily completion of fieldwork orders orders assigned by the Installed Sales Supervisor. Organizes the order of job-site visits based on order urgency and customer needs. Determines cause and cost of repair to item. Determines the responsible party to invoice for repairs. Advises Installed Sales Supervisor or Facilitators of parts necessary to complete warranty work. Checks for quality compliance during repair process. Maintains a neat, clean and orderly vehicle and warehouse area. Ensures compliance with company operation and safety policies. Ensures all tools and vehicles are maintained in a businesslike and professional manner. Exhibits and promotes a professional conduct when meeting the public. Assists in the training of personnel relating to equipment and quality. Acts a back-up for regular equipment maintenance. Works closely with the Installed Sales Supervisor to ensure the proper care of inventory, and equipment on a daily basis. Recommends quality and production improvements to the Installed Sales Supervisor. Maintains proper flow of fieldwork orders and completion of paperwork. Oversees assigned functions at the direction of the Installed Sales Supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to sit or stand for up to four (4) hours at a time. Strength (lift, carry, push, pull): Maximum lifts 100 lbs. frequent lift/carry 50 lbs. Ability to exert 50 lbs. Of force to move objects.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work inside in controlled temperature. Work outside in uncontrolled temperatures for indefinite periods of time.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONS: Class F Driver's License Insurability for Driving
