Job Summary:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for assisting the store manager with day-to-day operations of a 24/7 convenience retail store. Assisting in operations may include scheduling, training, leading, and developing approximately 20 store associates and managing the store in the store managers absence. You are also responsible for assisting with managing the facility conditions, food service execution, superior customer service, and quality products to meet operational objectives.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Trains and develops associates providing appropriate support and resources as needed.
  • Promotes an ethical workplace culture of recognition and appreciation based on performance expectations.
  • Holds team members accountable and drives store initiatives.
  • Responsible maintaining overall company standards, customer service standards and representing the company brand/image expectations.
  • Reviews and approves time and attendance of associates in accordance with federal/state law and as directed.
  • Ensures and promotes a safe workplace and safe product handling by supporting safety training initiatives and counseling direct reports as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
