Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Lewisville, Texas

Description We are offering a role in the government industry, positioned in Lewisville, Texas. The role is a Human Resources (HR) Manager, providing a short term contract employment opportunity. The primary function of this role is to manage and oversee various HR-related duties in line with FTA standards, particularly in public transit.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee public transit in compliance with FTA standards, potentially accommodating remote working conditions

• Develop, implement, and ensure EEO compliance with FTA circular

• Manage the expansion of the workforce from 30 to 120 employees, ensuring qualification for EEO4 program and compliance

• Write and implement FTA compliant policies

• Conduct handbook work to guide employees and ensure adherence to policies

• Handle employee relations in a represented workforce within the public sector

• Utilize various HRMS tools such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, About Time

• Oversee benefit functions and compensation administration

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

• Address and resolve any issues related to employee relations. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the government sector.

• Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with HRMS and About Time software.

• Ability to effectively handle Compensation Administration tasks.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions.

• Proven expertise in ensuring Compliance with legal and company policies.

• Strong skills in Employee Relations.

• Experience with Ceridian payroll software is desirable.

• Ability to manage and resolve complex HR issues.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
