Hyatt Director of Sales & Marketing in MACAU S.A.R., China

Description:

  • The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's strategic priorities, whilst meeting colleague, guest and owner expectations

  • Direct oversight Marketing Budget, P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and present at owner’s meetings

  • To position the hotel in the marketplace through appropriate sales and marketing initiatives and to ensure the hotel product and services align with the positioning and brand promise created through marketing communications.

  • To develop, implement, maximize, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s Sales Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue-generating departments.

  • To maximize colleague productivity with multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.

Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as Director of Sales and Marketing in Asia Pacific, with Hyatt experience desirable

  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.

  • Strong organizational skills and good operational, administrative interpersonal skills

  • Results driven, energetic, and focused

  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English plus Chinese will be an advantage

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
