Under DXC’s contract with the DHS, DXC Provider Relations maintains a team of Provider Relations Representatives. These positions are specifically defined in the contract between DXC and the Wisconsin DHS.
DXC has two representatives in each of five territories throughout the state. The field representatives are probably the most visible staff on the DXC account. Most times, the field reps are the only faces providers see representing Wisconsin Medicaid.
The representatives’ main mission is to educate providers. This is done through direct contact with providers in a variety of settings (traditional trainings, online trainings, etc). Representatives are also responsible for working with providers to resolve complex billing issues – however, even when resolving these issues, the representatives use an educational approach.
Conduct provider education within assigned territory (live large-group, in provider offices, online live training).
Develop provider trainings.
Research and respond to complex billing inquiries from providers.
Conduct provider outreach at state direction.
Attend provider association functions (conventions, meetings).
Work monthly provider report cards (contact providers who are having a high number of denials) and supply provider education as appropriate.
Travel in provider territory to meet with providers as needed (travel is generally less than 10 percent of time).
Facilitate and participate in workgroups.

Background and Experience
Background/experience in education or adult learning/training.
Background in healthcare policy and billing a plus.
College degree a plus.
