Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

  • Leads sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of customized business solutions to large or challenging clients. Meets or exceeds annual new business revenue target pre planned sales / industry / market territories.

  • Leverages the DXC operating model for success; that is, works closely with the client relationship and account management structures to develop account development plans for deals

  • Executes the standard sale process through to closure yet brings entrepreneurial deal making flair to client interactions and opportunities.

  • Addresses complex client business problems and drives digital transformation play by applying DXC’s offerings. Develops a compelling value proposition for our solution based on a solid business case and its overall impact on the client's agenda as well as company goals.

  • Develops strategic business relationships with key decision makers including customer senior management. Builds relationships while positioning company for future prospects.

  • May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel and sales support team

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in IT services & product sales – sales execution, client engagement and sales team management

  • Digital sales experience and digital business acumen

  • University (bachelor degree) minimum

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Pre-existing network of clients and relationships

  • Strong track record of working closely with/for some of the ECA application practice areas / alliance partners

  • Experience working with the technology industry, specifically software services and capabilities

Other Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level

  • Strong selling and negotiation skills

  • Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning

  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel

  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment where you do not control all resources

  • Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks

  • Ability to work in a hybrid team environment

  • Willingness to travel
