Robert Half HSE Assistant in Midland, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the gas industry, located in Midland, Texas. The role will require a high level of organization and attention to detail, with a focus on supporting the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) group leaders. The successful candidate will be handling administrative and clerical tasks, data entry, report generation, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the maintenance of files, logs, and records in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner

• Input the latest information into database systems and regularly update existing database system records

• Create and manage spreadsheets for data organization and analysis

• Answer and follow up on coworker inquiries via email/chat, providing clear and efficient communication

• Resolve minor processing problems independently, while seeking assistance from supervisors or other appropriate staff for issues beyond immediate expertise

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information to ensure privacy and compliance

• Support compliance records with HSE group leaders to ensure all safety and environmental standards are met

• Monitor and take appropriate action to resolve customer credit inquiries

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer credit accounts. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role or similar position.

• Proven skills in Administrative Assistance, including tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and database management.

• Knowledge and experience in Environmental Safety, including compliance with relevant regulations and implementation of safety measures.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in related fields will be a plus.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and workload.
