Working Hours:           Normal office hours are 09:30 to 17:30, Monday – Thursday, 09:30 to 17:00 Friday

Place of Work:             Remote (UK or Europe based)

Other:                          Full Time and right to work in the UK required

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Director, Business Development. The Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Business Development team to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency of the department.  This includes supporting interdepartmental collaboration and enhancing each areas commercial opportunity. Harnessing the operational and creative ideas to then deliver them to our current and new clients in order to develop the accounts further, both commercially and creatively.

KEY TASKS

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to develop dynamic creative proposals, including potential fees and outsource resource costs, resulting in profitable relationships and ongoing sales

  • Market research and presentation of client target lists

  • Initiate, develop and maintain client relationships, gaining strategic positioning with lead decision makers

  • Develop new business relationships and opportunities with legacy IP’s

  • Manage database of client contacts

  • Participate in and lead, when needed, in-person pitch of proposals to client audiences, including C-suite executives

  • Execution of market segment growth plans

  • Submit and provide feedback for all contract requests to legal and liaise with accounting on all project billing needs

  • Effectively and politely communicate to international audiences, whom may be of other cultures and languages

  • Collaborate with RWS operational and creative teams for the successful mounting of productions and experiences

  • Overseeing copy, content, and calendar planning

  • Copywriting and proofing

  • Arrange, organise and distribute specific departmental communication materials

  • Provide support and direction to RWS’s marketing team, as required

  • Ideate market campaigns with the team, as needed

  • Creation and update of departmental operating procedures

  • Managing and organising drop box

  • Communicating with clients to assist in the scheduling of meetings for EVP, VP and Director, Business Development

  • Submit invoices, expense reports and reimbursements department

  • Proofreading / editing of documents

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, co-workers and clients

  • Additional responsibilities as required to implement departmental business needs and projected company goals

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated strategic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which exemplify the ability to identify issues or challenges and find a reasonable solution

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be proficient in Excel and MS Office applications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Timely concurrent management of multiple projects

  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and effectively execute under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Strong organisation skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently

  • A team-player spirit with a fun attitude

  • The ability to travel national/international 50% of the year, or as needed to advance account acquisition including, but not limited to industry networking events, tradeshows and on-site client meetings

  • Right to work in the UK required

    A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or proof of exemption) will be required.

    Experience:

  • 3-4 years administrative and sales or licensing experience

  • Experience in Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality industries

  • The ideal candidate will have a “black book” of relevant industry contacts

  • Knowledge of UK, European and Middle Eastern territories preferred
