The role we are offering you:

As a member of the Global Technology and Product Organization, you will be a key player in its global technology transformation by guiding strategic decision-making based on business analysis and data analytics. This role will lead you to analyze the technology strategy and business needs in collaboration with different stakeholders to provide key insights on our business performance, operations, and the evolution of our technological culture.   • Analyze the organizational technology strategy and business needs to support our internal business partners in their key information needs.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to measure the evolution of our digital transformation, organizational value model, strategic objectives, operational performance, and the evolution of our technological culture.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital, IT, Finance, Engineering, Innovation, Cybersecurity, Human Resources) to analyze the availability of the required data points and proceed with its ingestion and consolidation in the development of the performance dashboard.

  • Report and analyze strategic objectives and key results (OKRs) to track progress and drive our business performance.

  • Standardize our analytical practice and the implementation of KPIs to allow for a better performance measurement.

  • Conduct various ad hoc business analysis by defining the required data points coming from different data sources across the organization, interpreting key insights and providing strategic recommendations to an executive audience.

  • Present key insights and data trends in a concise format using data visualizations intended to an executive audience.

  • Conduct benchmarking research and analysis to provide key information on CAE's positioning relative to key high technology players.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in our existing processes (roadmap, documentation, automation).

  • Contribute to a collaborative and stimulating work environment.

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business intelligence, business analysis or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong experience with SQL and Power BI (DAX) in designing performance dashboards.

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong business acumen and high attention to detail.

  • Strong ability to understand business challenges, think strategically and quickly synthesize information.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Experience in the financial sector (an asset).

  • Bilingualism required in French and English.
