Electronic Combat Systems is looking for an experienced systems engineer to contribute to the technical development on a program within our defense portfolio. As a Systems Engineer, you will work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test our Electronic Warfare systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare solutions through the lifecycle of system development, requirements development, integration & test, test planning, and execution in a field deployment environment.

Job responsibilities may include:

Creation and/or review of systems, software, component, subsystem requirements and operational concepts

Allocation of requirements to engineering disciplines

Design of test plans, test procedures and reports

Execution of integration, verification and validation tests

Participation in trade studies, peer reviews and customer meetings

Present findings at design reviews internally or with customers

Creation and/or review of systems, software, component, subsystem requirements and operational concepts

Deriving, decomposing, allocation and traceability of requirements to engineering disciplines

Creation of test plans, test procedures and reports

Creation and/or review of algorithms

Execution of integration, verification and validation tests

Participation in trade studies, peer reviews and customer meetings

Present findings at design reviews internally or with customers

Identifying System Technical Performance Measures

Creation of external and internal interface definitions

Participation in customer meetings

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Technical discipline

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • More than 8 years of working experience as an engineer using a technical degree

  • Experience in one or more of the domain or technology related to Electronic Warfare

  • Product development experience including requirement analysis, architecture, system design, integration and test

  • Experience with RF and EW systems.

  • Experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions

  • Experience with Integration and test

  • Experience leading small teams

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
