Job Description
The Global FP&A Manager/Director will be based in UK – London, working closely with the global Finance Director and CFO, the global practice leads and countries’ CFOs, fitting someone who wants to grow and learn about the business in a changing and fast growth environment.
Main FP&A contact globally for the communication between markets, the Publicis Media Global Finance team and Corporate Finance in Paris
Financial reviews and analysis of actuals and forecasts
Analysis of different revenue and different costs streams, helping different stakeholders like practice leads understand the numbers and provide support to them
Management of regular Group reports: Preparing and assisting with the monthly global presentation decks (P&L, top clients, revenue pipeline etc.), liaising with the various markets on variances.
Ensure the feedback of information within the deadlines set by the Group
Work with different stakeholders to help them make better business decisions and with PowerBI to visualise analysis tailored to those stakeholders
Analysis of Client Profitability:
Control of key performance indicators
Contact countries in the event of inconsistencies in the indicators
Balance Sheet reviews to identify any potential risks
Other ad-hoc reporting
Qualifications
Ideally fully ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, with the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understanding the big picture
Experience working with various levels of the organization including leadership & peers
Experience developing Excel based financial forecast models, reconciliations, and analytics
Experience supporting business decisions with business cases and analysis
Experience working with databases and information systems
Experience implementing initiatives and key projects
Experience at a direct marketing, professional services or technology related firm is a plus.
Advanced Excel required; advanced PowerPoint preferred; experience with Financial Planning Systems (e.g., Prophix, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and SalesForce.com) a plus.
Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills, open minded and good at building relationships
