In this vital role,you will be at the heart of shaping and enriching our emerging Hispanic Serving Institution (eHSI) initiatives with Continuing Education offerings,both credit and non-credit,tailored to meet the evolving needs of lifelong learners and various organizations across diverse disciplines. Your primary mission involves designing,implementing,and evaluating educational programs,focusing on educational achievement,career advancement,and intellectual enrichment with our Spanish-speaking populations. You will collaborate closely with the Community Education Center Director to define and reach measurable program objectives. You'll also be responsible for tailoring lifelong learning programs to fit industry-specific knowledge,skills,and abilities (KSAs),coordinating with marketing and communications for effective program promotion,and ensuring the alignment of educational programs with client needs.Additionally,your role includes:Assessing program effectiveness.Designing and implement innovative non-credit courses in close collaboration with academic departmentsEnsuring program alignments with degree curriculaOversee program metrics,particularly those related to the success of non-credit programs and their conversion to full-time enrollmentExpertise in grant writing will be crucial in securing funding for eHSI initiativesCollaborating on curriculum design.Considering Prior Learning Assessment and Credit for Prior Learning in program development.Facilitating programs/events to engage the communityCoordinating academic pathways at the Community Education CenterThis position requires exceptional skills in program development,strong communication and collaboration abilities,budget management,and a commitment to high-quality service.
