Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) enables customers of all types to run their workloads on best in class infrastructure. The Customer Engagements and Insights team ensures our field teams, customers, and analyst firms understand OCI’s unique value proposition. Additionally, OCI leadership relies on our organization to provide with them clear, actionable insight about how the market sees us and where our strengths and opportunities lie.

As a Senior Product Manager in the central product team, you will be responsible for telling OCI’s story to the world and for reflecting what the world is saying back to OCI. You will work with our field teams and customers to convey OCI’s strategy and how OCI products and services are differentiated and uniquely positioned to help them address their specific workload challenges. You will work with industry analysts, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure OCI’s unique differentiators and value proposition is understood and echoed in analyst reports and briefings. And you will work internally to ensure the appropriate stakeholders are engaged to develop collateral and facilitate in-person meetings with customers and analysts for onsite discussions. You will enable the business to understand how it is perceived in the market and to course correct as necessary by ensuring that the insights and intelligence you derive from external interactions get reflected to OCI leadership in a clear, actionable manner.

The ideal candidate excels at maintaining calm under pressure and is adept at juggling multiple contending priorities. You have a knack for understanding which work items are the most important and focusing relentlessly on them. You will develop an understanding of OCI’s differentiators and value proposition and will be able to speak to them fluently, both to internal and external audiences. You possess sufficient technical knowledge to drive intelligent conversations with both service owners and customers about their business problems and workloads and you ask for help when you get out of your depth. You are not afraid to ask questions when something doesn’t make sense, and to insightfully and respectfully challenge assertions or assumptions and to escalate when necessary. You are biased toward taking action with a high degree of judgement. You are not afraid to fail because you understand that every failure is an opportunity to learn and improve.

Your work in this role will drive real change within the business and have visibility at the highest levels both internally and externally.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience as Product Manager with a focus on Product Marketing.

  • Unlock the power of OCI for customers and external audiences through clear and consistent product messaging.

  • Technical depth and breadth to understand how the OCI portfolio is leveraged to bring value to customers and meet customer needs.

  • Drive alignment to product portfolio strategy across multiple teams.

  • Develop and maintain a robust library of content to support strategic and technical product messaging

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the analyst industry and/or industry and analyst contacts

US: Hiring Range: from $70,400 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
