Your Opportunity as the Senior Developer, IS Supply Chain You will actively participate in the planning, design, development and support activities related to systems and integrations. This technical hands-on position requires proven development skills, active team participation, excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, critical thinking, a commitment to quality deliverables and teamwork with other developers. This role will be focused primarily on developing and supporting scalable solutions to integrate a variety of internal on-premise Supply Chain applications, as well as allowing us to better communicate with our external cloud vendors. Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron area) Work Arrangements: Hybrid 30% in office expectations In this role you will: Application Delivery: Manage the technical delivery of small to medium size projects and enhancements Individual contributor for development tasks on large projects Publish technical specifications and support documentation Follow documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management Learn and apply new technology to solve Supply Chain business problems Application Support: Provide troubleshooting and resolutions for software issues Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support new or revised business processes Suggest and implement continuous improvements to reduce ongoing support demand The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together. What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or related work experience 3+ years of work experience as a developer Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large datasets Foundational experience in relational database and database technology Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to adapt to changing requirements Passion for building relationships and collaborating with teammates to drive the best possible outcomes for stakeholders Ability to learn quickly and apply new technical skill sets Effective communication skills with an ability to facilitate inclusive conversations Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required): Prior experience with Supply Chain systems and business processes Prior experience with batch and real-time integrations fundamentals and procedures Demonstrated experience with Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL, EDI and/or Unix scripting Learn more about working at Smucker: Follow us on #LI-CM1 #LI-Hybrid The J.
