Clarivate Analytics (US) LLC Senior Director, Technical Consulting (Life Sciences- MedTech) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 126665-1 The Commercial Projects Senior Director is a key role in our business strategy of engaging with Life Sciences and Med Tech clients to utilize Clarivate's unique consulting experience and content assets to develop novel solutions addressing significant market needs early in the solution evolution lifecycle, in some cases before any other Clarivate "Product" or external commercial product solutions exist.

Working in concert with Sales, Marketing, Product teams, Consulting practice areas, this role is responsible for sales and revenue growth, strategy, and delighting customers through exceptional delivery of services.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Minimum BS degree required 15 + years of working experience and a successful track record with a senior position in a technology-based consulting or services business, with commercial life sciences experience. Minimum 10 years experience working with commercial pharma solutions involving forecasting, epidemiology, competitive intelligence, market access, real world data, data integration and data management Experience selling and delivering custom technology solutions (design, build, run)

Familiarity with market trends in software technologies and the evolution of software and AI technologies to support our solutions Commercial acumen, with proven track record of identifying new prospects and penetrating new accounts and to teach other team members on consultative approaches to developing new business. An ability to work with structured solutions to solving problems as well as the ability to form new solutions with newly developed technical approaches that embrace the latest software, cloud, and AI technologies. Extensive experience of people management as well as working in a matrixed environment Advanced degree preferred

What will you be doing in this role?

Formulate the strategy for expanding our commercial project business - growing top line results and ensuring profitable bottom line revenue results Driving sales of our commercial project solutions into life sciences and med tech companies Working across the Life Sciences & Healthcare business unit to bring the relevant expertise to all phases of the project (sales, solutioning, delivery, post-launch) Drive growth for the Commercial Project business to meet quarterly and annual business objectives. Ensure the development of high-quality proposals and well executed bid defenses that position us to win commercial project bids Accountable for working with the technology consulting practice to ensuring delivery milestones are met, client satisfaction is high and project profitability is aligned with plan/expectations Engage with senior level clients to identify opportunities to expand our consulting footprint and ensure our program/project delivery is meeting client needs and issues/risks are being properly managed . Build a growth-oriented, customer focused consulting team providing support, encouragement, and career growth to support individuals and their teams to achieve annual goals and employee aspirations. Support thought-leadership and market development by speaking at and contributing to industry and technology conferences on Clarivate's Commercial Project case studies.

About the Team

Our commercial Projects business is modest today ($5M per year) and we believe the potential is there to grow 10X over the next few years. Part of this role's responsibilities will include defining the team/resource requirements to support the growth of the business.

Hours of Work This role can be performed remotely or near any Clarivate US office. This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours EST zone.
