This position is based in Plano. TX with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.

Who we’re looking for

As a Technology Operations Center Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the release platform & processes. Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless and continuous integration & automation via (CI/CD) workflows. Collaborating closely with product teams, engineering teams, and other stakeholders; you’ll contribute to delivering high-quality applications on cloud platforms via Fearless Releases.

What you’ll be doing

  • Continuously improve CI/CD processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance efficiency via relentless automation. Focusing on the move of ITIL processes into a more DevOps-driven environment.

  • Work with business and engineering stakeholders to drive results.

  • Design and implement deployments within AWS cloud environments.

  • Build, manage, and deploy architectures using modern technologies such as Serverless and Kubernetes.

  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform with a heavy proficiency in Python and Bash.

  • Develop and enhance automated deployment pipelines, leveraging AWS services.

  • Promote and implement robust observability practices, including monitoring, tracing, alerting, and logging.

  • Utilize tools like Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch for effective monitoring.

  • Keep system documentation up to date, ensuring clarity for team members and stakeholders. Understanding of ITIL processes and compliance/audit needs.

  • Communicate effectively through technical briefings and presentations.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, emphasizing tooling, automation, and distributed systems development.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, services, and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Python & Bash

  • Certified Associate Python Programmer

  • Proven ability to design and implement deployments in AWS.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Added bonus if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

  • Certified Professional Python Programmer Level 1

  • DevOps Engineering Foundation Certified

  • JavaScript proficiency
