The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Endpoint Analyst to join our team. The Endpoint Analyst will focus on the daily activities required to maintain and support the corporate Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) environment and the overall performance, health, and security of the endpoints therein. This person will be the primary administrator of the UEM platform and, along with input from IT management and other key personnel, maintain customizations for applications, baseline OS images and configurations, review and deploy patches, monitor and report progress of said deployments, as well as perform other tasks as the UEM environment continues to grow.

*This position is 100% onsite and no remote or hybrid is available at this time. *

The Endpoint Analyst will:

  • Administer, configure, install, develop, deploy, and maintain key UEM components, such as configurations, templates, application packages, patches, and baseline OS images
  • Perform daily operations and functions within the UEM environment such as patching, deployment, monitoring, and tuning of system performance, as well as reporting and compliance across 3,000 endpoints (servers, workstations, mobile devices)
  • Follow established processes and propose process improvements where applicable and relevant
  • Follow best practices with respect to package deployment and overall compliance check-ins
  • Provide routine and out-of-cycle reports to other IT administrators, security, and management personnel detailing accurate point-in-time compliance results
  • Maintain integration between UEM and Helpdesk environments, conforming to ITSM standards and best practices whenever possible, and proposing improvements to existing process workflows where applicable and relevant
  • Participate in technical discussions, develop, and if needed, present required briefing materials to IT management and/or other internal customers as required
  • Create and/or maintain applicable documentation, including but not limited to, workflows, processes, desk instructions, SOPs, Policy & Procedures, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

2-3 years of UEM experience using an industry-standard platform (e.g., SCCM/InTune, etc.) experience with Endpoint Central from Manage Engine preferred

Proficiency in administering Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop OSs

ITIL certification and/or ITSM experience considered a plus

Proficiency with PowerShell and/or other scripting languages considered a plus

High level of customer service, communication skills (oral and written), and attention to detail

Willingness to want to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment

Self-starter with initiative and ability to work/troubleshoot problems independently

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Desire to work as part of a team in a diverse, rapidly changing environment

Ability to handle multiple projects on short timelines
