Eaton Corporation IT Specialist - AEM Architect in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

Eaton Corporation is seeking an AEM Architect to join our DCX IT team. This role will reside at the EITC.

An AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Architect is critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing digital experiences on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. AEM Architect is responsible for understanding AEM's capabilities, web technologies, and translating business requirements into scalable solutions. AEM Architect should have expertise in DevOps, front-end development, and API integration essential to driving both the strategic and technical direction of projects.

•Architect, design, and develop enterprise-level AEM solutions, integrating scalability, resilience, and high performance using AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

•Should Lead and oversee the development team in building AEM components, templates, workflows, and translation frameworks while ensuring adherence to coding standards and performance optimization.

•Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Java, OSGi, Sling, OAK, and other related technologies.

•Maintaining comprehensive documentation of AEM architectures, configurations, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing is part of the responsibilities.

•Provide technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues related to AEM implementations and troubleshoot integration and performance problems. Identifying and addressing performance

bottlenecks are crucial to the role, ensuring exceptional user experiences and meeting performance benchmarks.

•Should Stay updated with AEM and web technology trends and recommending innovative solutions to enhance the digital experience.

•Provide guidance to junior team members, promoting an environment of continuous learning and skill enhancement.

•Work closely with testing teams to ensure rigorous QA processes, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.

•Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience deploying AEM on cloud infrastructure.

•Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools for streamlined deployments and configuration management.

•Implementing and managing AEM security features like user authentication and access controls. Knowledge of SSO frameworks like SAML & OIDC/OAuth.

•Knowledge of API design, development, and deployment using open sources like Spring Boot, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes.

•Continuously optimize the AEM infrastructure to improve efficiency and resource utilization.

•Should be able to lead the Sprint team and participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.

•Nurture a DevSecOps mindset and strongly desire to continuously look for opportunities to improve the application's DevOps practices through automation, standardization, and process improvement.

•Quality mindset, foster TDD or BDD development in the team to establish high-quality code.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering

  • 10 + Years Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

  • 10+ years of experience in Web development

  • 8+ years of experience in AEM CMS platform - AEM 6.5 on-prem or AEM Cloud Service

Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Java, JEE, OSGi, Sling, and other related technologies

  • Proficiency in Java development and familiarity with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and data modeling.

  • Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks like TDD (jUnit, Mockito), BDD

  • Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Angular

  • Knowledge of web development technologies and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum

  • Knowledge of build technologies like NPM, Maven and jFrog

  • Experience of Container technologies like Docker

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Have passion for web development and a desire to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment

  • Experience with Search Platforms like Endeca

  • Familiarity with performance monitoring and profiling tools for AEM applications – Dynatrace or others.

  • Good understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment is desirable (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc)

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures.

  • Understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics integration.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX principals, design system and tools like Figma.

  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement

  • Certified Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect.
