Enterprise Excellence (EE) is a group within the Operations and Technology (O&T) organization that designs solutions to enhance transparency, empowers Operations and Functions to improve processes and evolves the organization through continuous improvement and simplification. The organization is responsible for defining, deploying and driving alignment and progress against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization and improves process health.
Operations Process Reengineering Framework (OPRF) is a data driven metrics reporting and scoring solution for the key performance metrics for our Operations groups.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
Establish project specifications and technical direction
Create a framework of technical standards and procedures
Oversee software quality and system modifications
Guide team members with troubleshooting technical issues
Analyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies
Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions
Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team
Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Liaise with team members, management, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to application development and governance standard
Analyze existing operations and schedule training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Update work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required
Motivate staff and create a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns
Write progress reports and deliver presentations to the relevant stakeholders
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership with Java, Angular or similar technology stack
Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline
