Territory Sales in GA, TN, AL, SC

Intergro, a division of Bunzl, provides agriculture mulch films, irrigation supplies, stakes, and related agricultural solutions to customers throughout North America. We are excited to add a Sales Representative to our growing team. The Sales Representative will support the growth and profitability of our customers with innovative solutions across all core categories, including vegetable products, greenhouse products and blueberry products.

This position will serve as a business development partner and will be responsible for creating and driving sales within the defined territory. Additionally, the Sales Representative will build customer relationships, handle customer concerns and inquiries, manage Account Receivables, and communicate successfully with all internal departments. Salary/commission plan.

Candidates should live in or around GA, TN, AL, SC

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and margin goals

  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts

  • Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items

  • Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Manager on a regular basis

  • Manage Account Receivables successfully

  • Communicate and cooperate in a productive manner with all departments

  • Utilize all appropriate VIP sales techniques and methodologies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business preferred

  • Previous sales experience required in the agricultural industry

  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding analytical, organizational and communication skills

  • Must be able to utilize acceptable mathematical skills

  • Demonstrate a friendly and professional appearance

  • Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Ability to travel 50% or more of time
