About the Role

Stitch Fix is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our Growth and Systems Team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping user experiences that drive client growth across the end-to-end experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business objectives, user needs, and technical requirements into intuitive and delightful experiences.

From iterative enhancements to 0-1 innovation, you'll lead the design process, leveraging your deep technical knowledge to create realistic prototypes that enable rapid validation and iteration. Additionally, you will contribute to and help uplevel our design system with the integration of motion and micro-interactions that create engaging user experiences and scale across our experience.

  • Create prototypes with integrated motion and micro-interactions to enhance user experiences.

  • Uplevel our interactive patterns by leveraging a deep knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive web design, site performance best practices, native app best practices, and modern front-end frameworks to identify and solve for interaction needs across our client experience.

  • Drive the development and adoption of design systems for consistency and usability.

  • Participate in user research and testing to iterate designs based on feedback.

  • Collaborate with industry leaders to inform design decisions and practices.

We’re excited about you because…

  • Have 5+ years of experience in Product Design, with a focus on prototyping, innovation, and rapid iteration and validation.

  • Possess a standout portfolio showcasing experience leading or contributing to design systems and integrating motion and micro-interactions into designs.

  • Deep knowledge of cutting-edge interaction design best practices across web design, native app and modern front-end frameworks.

  • Nice-to-have: experience in front-end development and prototyping.

  • Can juggle multiple priorities and navigate between strategic work and detailed execution.

  • Are passionate about creating inclusive, accessible, and scalable products that delight users.

  • Have experience collaborating with industry leaders and drawing inspiration from cutting-edge companies.

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. In addition, the position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. Applicants should apply via our internal or external careers site.

Salary Range

$173,000 — $185,000 USD
